Brown : Final Nail In Darnel's 2006-07 Coffin

The composure, demeanour and general good humour and happiness displayed by Scott Brown at yesterday's Celtic Park press conference must sorely hurt our friends in Govan. In a choreographed PR dreamscape Scott and Gordon Strachan held court before the silver backdrop of the Scottish Cup and the SPL Championship trophy.

The media therefore had their blue noses rubbed in the dirt of their dashed dreams.

More of the same this summer please.

ok ive now worked out with what was wrong with posting on here. I need to be logged on through CQN first.

I was very impressed by the way Scott handled himself with the media yesterday. I had been told that our manager and now past captain have been major fans of his and have been follwoing him for a while. So its good to get our Bhoy.

Here is a wee bit of trivia. Who did we play in the late great Johnny Doyles last first team game?

I'm wracking my brain here, he was used infrequently as the Mothers and Hertz showed interest. I'll go for the darnel or aberdeen.

WG its a wee curve ball. I was winding my mates up on Saturday coming out of Hampden about it as I was at it.

It was against Queens Park in the Glasgow cup when it was still regarded as a first team fixture about a week before he passed away. We won 2-0 im sure.

I hope my memory is correct on this as I was dining out on it on Saturday.

I like it

Glasgow Cup stats are hard to come by so I'd never have got there.
